UAS Airspace Authorization Services

Get airspace authorizations from Airbus

Airbus is a FAA-approved UAS Service Supplier (USS) of the Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability (LAANC).

LAANC is a collaboration between the FAA and private industry to safely integrate small drones into the national airspace. LAANC provides Recreational and Part 107 drone pilots with airspace awareness and the opportunity to receive approval to fly in controlled airspace (under 400 feet).

Airbus provides FAA-approved LAANC authorization to individuals and businesses through apps from Airbus’ partners via deep linking.

For individuals

Pilots and operators can download one of these apps that deep-link to Airbus' LAANC services.

Drone Deploy provides drone software for industry innovators, pilots, and operators. Our software includes everything from drone fleet management to complete site documentation and analysis. As a DroneDeploy pilot, you can plan your flight, request authorization from the FAA through Airbus (an approved FAA LAANC UAS Service Supplier) and fly within an integrated experience.

For enterprises

Through these partners, companies can integrate airspace authorizations to their UAS workflow.

DroneDeploy transforms the way businesses collect, manage, and interpret drone data. DroneDeploy pilots can request airspace authorizations before they fly, and report on safety and compliance after flight.

At Airbus, our UAS solutions play a key role in defence, humanitarian and environmental missions all over the world. Airbus is an FAA approved provider of the LAANC capability and customers of Airbus Intelligence can request FAA approved airspace authorizations through Airbus UTM to perform a variety of high-value flight missions.
