Rob is General Counsel, Head of Ethics and Compliance, and Corporate Secretary. He is also involved on the business side in launching new activities, including co-leading early efforts in blockchain and quantum computing/sensing.
Before becoming a lawyer, Rob held various positions as a plumber, a musician, an insurance agent, a world traveler (76 countries and counting), an early startup employee and later, VP of Sales. After graduating from NYU Law, he clerked for federal judge Kimberly Mueller and did litigation and transactions at two firms, Simpson Thacher and Orrick.
Rob’s academic background is in economics/applied math and foreign languages, and in addition to his law degree he holds a Bachelor of Science from BYU and a Master of Philosophy from Cambridge University. He enjoys playing music, cooking, outdoor activities with his family, riding motorcycles, and flying airplanes.
